About Me

Hi, I’m Ganis Angger Atmawarin, a Jogja based pirate wannabe. Most buddies call me Ganis or Angger. I was born and raised in the eastern corner of Indonesia, Sorong, but now I’m living in Jogja, a beautiful, bustling city, full of students and amazing places and attractions.

What I’m doing? Well, when I’m not busy declarin’ war, or creatin’ problem, or twitting my parrot, or book wreckin’, or plunderin’ music treasure or teachin’ piraterin’, ye can find me wanderin’ and write occasional rant here, trying to tricking people into thinking that I’m some sort of uber cool dude.

I write the content in English, but in some section, you’ll find Indonesian. I dream with an universal language, but till that day, this approach will make the trick.

Some of the article here contain material that some people may find terribly offensive or incredibly arousing, so it is highly advisable to keep your sense of humor on constant vigilance.

About this Site

I designed this site on a scrap paper and build it with Fireworks, Espresso & CSSEdit. I use the power of ExpressionEngine to manage and lighten the content. For the navigation I pick a deadly duo combination of lovely Silkscreen by Jason Kottke & beautifully drawn Acanthus by Kobayashi. The body copy typography is subject to change depending on my mood, my chocolate flavor of the day and the sun - stars relative position toward the moon.

For a reason that pretty obvious (to piss you off *smirk*) I don’t do a commenting system. Well, at least not yet. But oi, you are still free to say “Hullo Atmawarin” .
